Balvenie 1997 19 years old Compendium Vol 2 - Original bottling - 70cl

Part of the Balvenie DCS Compendium Chapter 2, this 19 year old single cask expression was filled to cask on 6th August 1997. Matured in a single European oak port puncheon, this expression is one of only 215 bottles released individually and is presented in a handcrafted European oak wood and brass frame.

Malt Master, David Stewart, for whom the Compendium is named, said ‘I actually remember this port puncheon; it was a cask we used to finish our 21 Year Old PortWood that I decided in 1997, ‘why don't we fill this with new-make?’
