SNOOPY is an indirect-light table lamp with painted metal reflector and white Carrara marble base, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, in 1967. The lamp is available in black and green. The code for the black version is F6380030, while for the green version it is F6380039. The cylindrical base is made of valuable white veined Carrara marble. A thick crystal disc is placed on the marble base. The three cooling holes on top of the diffuser recall the grip of a bowling ball. The marble base, which originally contained an on/off switch and an electronic dimmer to adjust the light intensity (definitely an innovative feature at that time), still houses the same functions but with an ultra-technological touch dimmer sensor. The lamp owes its name to the prominent “snout”, reminiscent of the pet beagle in the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz. Dimensions: Height: 36.9 cm. Width: 39.4 cm. The lamp comes with its original packaging and the whole original FLOS documentation still to be filled (The lamp is new, never used. It has been removed from the packaging only to take photos).
