Impressive original "Carretto siciliano", with original wrought iron straps and axles, depicting the story of Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies through oil-painted vignettes (scenes 60x50 cm: "Fernando sets fire to the enemy ship", "First meeting of Fernando and Maria"," Fernando opposes the sacrifice", "Fernando courteously pacifies the revolt of his"). We can glimpse the scenes on the rear door of the upper box that an adequate restoration can bring to light. Note the pictorial refinement (case, wheels), the elegance of the wrought iron axles and the inlaid wood representing the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Sicily.
The date of realization is painted in green: 1829 (two years after the end of the sovereignty). The revision of the cart for circulation is attested by two plates nailed on the left rod: "Verified - Municipal sign - year 1955", "1958 - SR - Lire 500".
The cart needs restoration. Look carefully at the pictures.
