The high secretary desk was made in ca. 1850 from noble light brown walnut and richly decorated with carvings. It consists of 2 pieces. The lower cabinet is approx. 120 cm wide, 100 cm tall and approx. 60 cm deep. The upper cabinet is 120 cm wide, but approx. 160 cm tall and only 40 cm deep. The carving in the doors of the upper cabinet shows the French royal couple with their coat of arms in an elaborate relief-like ornamental field. At the top of the frieze you can see fully plastically carved lion heads.
On the left and the right of the lower cabinet additional fully plastic and allegorical figures have been added. There is a head in the middle - as an opener for the writing drawer.
