Handwritten decree on letterhead of the king of Italy, signed by King Victor Emmanuel III and the Duce Mussolini, single article issued in 1926 to promote as infantry captains those soldiers who fought the Great War of 1915-18.
Below is the list (total pages 8, 4 sheets, last page untouched) of the promoted captains. An amazing source of information that is otherwise nowhere to be found, with first and last names.
Unique, original documents of great historical importance given both its content and the handwritten signatures. Collector’s item. Good condition, the top of the pages has signs of moisture and jagged edges but the readability of the text is not affected in any way. The document is shipped with accurate packaging and protection.
On the second-last page the document bears the stamp of the Court of Auditors and the Ministry of War with the signatures of their representatives, as well as the handwritten signatures of Benito Mussolini and King Victor Emmanuel III.
