In the early 1960s, space travel became a hot item.
The West German company Huger responded handily by launching weather stations that resembled space stations.
An example of this is this beautiful and rare Sputnik model which contains a barometer, hygrometer, and thermometer.
The model is made of heavy brass and plastic and functions excellently.
Crack is glued, see photos, satellite disc is loose.
An eye-catcher and collector's object.
Beautiful patina
This weather station will be very carefully packaged and sent insured with DHL and Trackingnumber.
The photos are part of the description (small crack in the Plexiglas).
