RARE MALTS Selection is a limited edition issued by Diageo. Annually the company selected 2 x 4 rare malts. One range in spring, one in autumn, with only 6000 bottles per type. Soon every edition became a collector's item.
DUFFTOWN-GLENLIVET in Dufftown is situated near the Conval Hills - in the heart of Speyside. The name has simply changed into DUFFTOWN.
Dufftown used to be considered the capital of Whisky because there were 9 distilleries in town!
