Marc Chagall (1887–1985) famous Belarusian painter (Mark Zagarovic Sagal) naturalized French.
After his first experiences in his home country, he went to Paris in 1910 and came into contact with French artists. In 1923, thanks to a Danish diplomat, he managed to once again go to France where he began to establish himself.
